Merlin Precision Engineering specialise in Manual turning and Manual milling in all types of materials i.e. stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium non ferrous, plastic.

Our skilled use of manual machines are important for the customer requiring quick turnaround one off parts. For customers requiring one offs or modifications it is often quicker to machine these manually rather than programming them on the CNC Mills. Many awkward shaped castings can be held for manual milling and manual turning.

Our surface grinding services is a finishing process that uses a rotating abrasive wheel to smooth the flat surface of metallic or nonmetallic materials, to give them a more refined look or to attain a desired surface for a functional purpose.

General Fabrication, Spark Eroding & Welding

We can provide general fabrication services across a range of applications using aluminium, light to medium gauge mild steel section or plate. including general sheet metal work using the latest welding and forming techniques. We can also offer a rapid manufacture service for break down situations.

Spark eroding techniques are applied for the removal of broken bolts, studs, drills, taps or extractors. This is achieved by creating an electric spark between the broken item and the electrode which is held in a vibrating head and reaches 5000 degrees Centigrade.
